A wonderful evening at the Wheeler Centre to celebrate the launch of Writers Victoria and the new 2012 program (during which I'm doing a workshop on Self-Publishing - more about that in my next blog). Not a member? Definitely time to join

Here is a quick video from last night as the celebrations and launch began with Roderick Poole (Director of Writers Victoria) kicking off proceedings. Not a great quality video I'm afraid but still fun!


It was lovely to be invited back to the NSW Writers’ Centre to present on How to Market Your Self-published Book as a part of the Everything You Need to Know About Publishing seminar.

The course, held over two days is a bit of a boot camp in some ways, with prospective and experienced authors leaving with heads swirling with ideas and suggestions. Unfortunately I was only able to be there from lunchtime on Sunday as I was flying up from Melbourne (nearly missed the flight too) so I missed a lot of the content but by all accounts there had been plenty to take in before I arrived.
